Welcome to RudePeople

Greetings All!

Things have picked up quite a bit here at rudepeople. Lot's and lot's of new members and many new stories. I've really enjoyed reading and commenting on them.

As the content has grown, I've noticed that it's easy for stories to roll off the front page before people have a chance to see them. Plus, it's not entirely clear to many folks just how to navigate around and find specific stories, so...

I am going to attempt to re-organize the site. I plan to add navigational aids; either links or classification icons based on the type of rudeness. Frankly, I'm not sure how it will work. Hopefully, I won't take the whole site down, but things have cooled down a bit and I'd like to try to get the changes in before the next flood of new users, which seem to happen anytime the site is mentioned in print.

Keep those emails and rude storys coming!

Please Don't You Be My Neighbor (not Mr. Rogers' song)

♪♪  Don't you please, don't you please, please don't you be my neighbor!  ♪♪

At Home Depot, I decided to take a rest and sit on one of the garden furniture swings inside one of those netted gazebos, so I pulled my shopping cart close to me so I wouldn't be in anyone's way.  So here comes Mr. and Mrs. Dorkus, who start leaning on my cart, inspecting the gazebo mosquito netting (which they could have done at 3 other places around this structure), then Mrs. Dorkus grabs a garden furniture catalog out of my cart.  I told her, "Hey that's mine, lady," and she looked befuddled which was not surprising.  I commented that the cart also had a box of nails and 2 tomato plants in it, so IT OBVIOUSLY BELONGED TO SOMEBODY.  Apparently I was invisible.  Then these types of people just stare at you, to which I added, "Boy, I'm glad you're not my neighbors."  Could there be any other explanation for messing with someone else's purchases, other than being brain dead or perhaps blotto'd on vodka, or probably both?

What's even worse is when you manage to get the last couple sale items, you leave your cart for a minute to go to the rest room, and when you return, the sale items have been taken out of your cart.  Grrrr.

RUDE NEIGHBORS FROM HELL!!

Miscellaneous

TALK about RUDE NEIGHBORS!!! I read one article about one woman who has this rude neighbor who is INTO a parking spot.  Wellll she should be lucky it's ONLY A SPOT!  I have a new car, in fact my FIRST car and where I live there's a parking lott that has 2 sides.  One right next to us and this is where I park. I park on the other side of the walking lane so avoid sap from the tree on the other side.  Well there's this OLD couple (one looks like an old man even though it's a woman) lives on the other side BUT they have this NEED to park on my side of the lott (the opposite side ) and the husband will do what he can to park next to me even though there's space right next to his wife or plently of space right in front of their building!  She keeps walking her dog by my window and allows him to bark at my cat's and upset them. I tried to be nice to her and talk to her but she thinks she's better than me??! She looks more like a man then her own husband does! They LIVE to get the spot I am in and will quickly park three as soon as I leave! They think they own that spot!  It's really SICK how they have to park on the other side of the lott across from their place even though there's a spot right in front of their place! WHY do people have a need to TRY to upset othrs? Is it because their livesare so minisquel so pathitic that they have to try to make someone else as misrable as they are? Are they so rude and their lives so not woth much they spend their time they have on earth trying to make othrsas rotten as theirs? I have better things to do then to give that time to these 2 old worthless people who laugh when they see me or doa dance if they park next to me knowing my husband parks next to me and they made him park else where? Even though my husband laughs as how patetic they are to take time to play such childish games?  I really hope there's no sucha place as a heaven or hell because they are way older then me and will meet their maker sooner than me.  What will they say to their maker? WHY did you two go out of your way to TRY  make this couple upset?  You had nothing better to do with your time? HOW SAD!

Yesterday I took my mom to a restaurant on Union that serves great food.  I enjoy the down home ambiance of the restaurant.  I go regularly on Sunday after church, so I decided to take my mother for the first time.  Boy was that a mistake!!!!!
