What is it with people that are ALWAYS sick?

Always going to doctor or suffering from some "ailment" . Every office has that one employee who is dubbed the Hypochondriac...well we have one such person here, that person just left the lobby...and let's please refer back the the "Receptionist Handbook"...about not having to inform me where you are going, I am not the hall monitor....anyway back to the story, she informed me that she had three doctors appointments just today and that she won't be able to get her work done. Well as far as I understand it, she is never here to get any work done anyway because she is always sick. It's a viscious cycle...but frankly I don't really care about your ailments lady...get over it no one feels sorry for you...at all, frankly we are tired of your constant whining and stories of surgeries after surgeries...Are you a hypochondriac? Test yourself.

Hypochondriacs who are Hypocrits... (none / 0) (#5)

My supervisor is always sick.  When someone else is sick she suddenly feels symptoms coming on.  What's funny is that she told me that she was "concerned" about the number of hours I had been gone (I had mono!  What do you expect?) and she misses much more work than I do.  I can always tell when she's going to call in the next morning(at 10:30am when she's supposed to have been here); it can be a simple comment of "my head hurts" and I know she won't be there.
