isn't it lovely when you're accused of being a size 16 when you're a 10 or 12??

While shopping for coats earlier this year I asked to take a coat down from a display.  It was a size 12 and the lady helping me didn't want to take it down.  I asked her to remove the coat from the mannequin and that I had a coat in my hand that could replace it (a size 12 white coat from a different brand)  She said, "that coat wont fit this mannequin" and i asked why and she said, "because you're holding a size 16 and it is too big."  she also added, "this is a junior brand and it runs small."

I'm a size 12!!!  The coat, as it turned out, fit, but puckered slightly.  I didn't buy it.  I had such a bad taste in my mouth - I'll never shop in that department again!

From what you wrote, she said nothing at all about YOUR size. A bit oversensitive?

Hey Lady,

Shut the hell up - I am a size 16 and I certainly do not care to slit my wrists.  The lady really said nothing about YOU or YOUR specific size.  So get over it ok?  You also need to accept that you at a size 10 or 12 are indeed a plus size woman and honey I know that hurts you to hear that, but plus size is not a dirty word.  Stop being such a rude, arrogant wench ok?  Thanks.

Anna
